Clicking igniter on a gas stove

If you hear a clicking sound when turning the surface burner knob, it is an electric igniter trying to spark the burner. Normally it clicks up to 3 times before it sparks. If the igniter keeps clicking but the burner won’t light, try the following tips:

• Make sure the burner cap is on the right place
• Remove the burner cap and wipe away any debris
• Give the burner time to air dry

Electric stove burner won’t heat
